Scholarships and prizes

The Faculty of Engineering and IT offers a variety of scholarships and prizes to future and current students who demonstrate academic excellence.  While most scholarships are offered through our undergraduate programs, there are also undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships available to international students. Research students have a number of scholarships they can apply for which are sponsored by the Faculty and UTS.

Many of our scholarships are industry sponsored, which means that aside from the financial benefit, they promote your development as a future leader by giving you opportunities to create links with industry early in your course. Many well-known organisations use the industrial training scheme as a key element of their graduate recruitment program.

The majority of our scholarships in the undergraduate program are sponsored by industry and offer you the opportunity to complete one or both of your internships with the sponsor.

Acknowledgement of Country

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands.
