Quality Improvement in Nursing and Midwifery

A Quality Improvement survey funded by WHO WPRO, undertaken by the WHO CC UTS, explored key stakeholders perceptions of quality improvement of health care services within participating countries of the Western Pacific Region.

The survey developed and sought responses to questions related to existing quality and safety culture, existing quality improvement systems, and programs and capacity building models currently being used. The survey elicited 46 respondents from Asia representing 10 countries as well as 30 respondents from the Pacific with 14 countries being represented.  A succinct report on findings has been ratified by the WHO WPRO in 2012.
