IPPG is excited to announce a new study on the current and emerging issues in arts governance.
International Arts Governance: Arrangements and Trends
Effective arts governance is vital for improving organisational performance, fostering artistic value and encouraging innovation. Recently, the arts sector has encountered significant financial and sustainability challenges, largely due to COVID-19 and the global economic crisis. In response, many arts organisations have been forced to adapt and reevaluate their governance structures to manage these difficulties.
To ensure that this research captures the insights of those involved in and directly affected by arts governance, we’re calling on arts administrators, board members, artists, policymakers, funders and donors to participate in our short anonymous survey (10 minutes). Your insights and experience in the arts sector are crucial to reflecting the contemporary issues and trends impacting the arts sector.
The research will be published by Cambridge University Press as part of a broader series focused on corporate governance.
We invite you to participate in and share this survey within your network to help us gather a diverse range of perspectives.
