Jeremy Basset (Co-Chair)

Jeremy has built a career helping large corporates define and build their organisations. Through CO:CUBED, he works with some of the world's largest businesses, rethinking their approach to innovation and helping them build and execute their collaborative capabilities. Before launching CO:CUBED, Jeremy spent 13 years at Unilever, where he was responsible for launching and then leading the Unilever Foundry, a platform to engage with startups. Through the Foundry, over 1500 Unilever marketers worked with over 150 startups, bringing innovative technology and an entrepreneurial culture to Unilever.
An Australian, Jeremy’s career has taken him from Australia to New Zealand to Singapore, and he now resides in the UK. Jeremy has a marketing and commercial background, with a degree in Accounting and Marketing. He is CPA qualified and has an MBA from London Business School.

Selina Chang

Head of Data, Vitrifi Digital

Selina Chang is the Head of Data at Vitrifi Digital, a PE backed technology startup for mobile services, based in London. She has extensive international experience in B2C data and digital strategy with a strong focus on data commercialisation & governance, emerging technologies, and innovation.
With a career spanning more than 15 years, Selina held senior positions at Levi Strauss & Co. and Nissan, where she drove initiatives to extract commercial value from data and feed it into effective decision-making, loyalty, and sustainable growth, while balancing data-related risk and compliance.
Oliver Corlette

Oliver is the CEO of Black Mountain Partners, a real estate development and investment company in London. Black Mountain invests in and develops mixed use projects in the UK and Europe. Prior to Black Mountain Partners, Oliver was the MD of Porto Montenegro, one of the largest mixed-use developments on the Mediterranean, for 10 years. Prior to this, he worked for Onex Investment Corp and Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. He graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) and Harvard Business School with an MBA.
Tina Gould

Tina is an experienced senior communications professional with a successful track record leading strategic communications for global businesses in finance, professional services, and investment education.
In her current role, Tina leads global media communications planning for CFA Institute, the professional body for investment professionals focused on the organisation’s education, research, and policy advancements. Previously Tina led executive, external, and internal corporate communications for the London operations of Morningstar Inc.
Tina’s earlier career included roles with Ernst & Young’s Australian Entrepreneur of the Year initiative (Sydney) and media relations for investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
Winston Green

CheWinston is a technology lawyer with broad experience across disciplines including commercial contracts, licensing agreements, M&A, IP disputes, data governance, and data privacy/protection to name a few.
He began practice in Sydney, then moved to London in 2004 to work for many years in the TMT practice of the world’s largest law firm. Winston then spent time as Head of Legal and Data Protection Officer for one of the UK’s retail banks and spent time as the General Counsel for a Mobility Service start-up.
Winston is currently International Counsel of Pierstone BV, a law firm with offices in Brussels, Prague, and London as well as being part of a network of technology-focused law firms in over 65 jurisdictions.
When he’s not busy helping his clients achieve their goals, he enjoys tennis, skiing, and various musical pursuits.
Catherine Hinwood, OBE

Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence Lead, NHS England
Resides in London, UK
Catherine is NHS England’s Lead for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence. She leads an ambitious programme of work to improve the way the NHS responds to domestic abuse and sexual violence for both patients and staff. The programme considers these crimes through a public health lens, looking at prevention, early intervention, and resulting health inequalities, as well as improving support for victims. She led the introduction of the first ever cross-healthcare system charter on sexual misconduct, with more than 150 signatories.
Catherine was formerly a Deputy Director in the Family and Criminal Justice Policy Directorate in the Ministry of Justice. She was responsible for most of the government policy relating to victims of crime in England and Wales, and a £140 million per annum budget for victim and witness services. Catherine led the UK government response to Covid for victims and witnesses in March 2020. She was also appointed ‘Gender Champion’ for the Ministry of Justice in May 2016, providing leadership for around 80,000 staff on achieving gender equality in the workplace and introducing the first bespoke public sector sexual harassment policy.
Catherine began her legal career at the Australian Human Rights Commission in 2001, having completed a Bachelor of Arts/Law at the University of Technology Sydney. She relocated to London to work at the Refugee Legal Centre, where she represented victims of trafficking, sexual violence, and torture. Catherine then joined the Ministry of Justice, working as a lawyer before moving to the Senior Civil Service to work on policy and strategy.
Catherine’s work has been recognised internationally; she was awarded an OBE in King Charles’s first honours list in 2023 and received the 2023 UTS Law Alumni Award.

Samia Robbins

Samia graduated in International Business from UTS in the year 2000, and she has grown her career in the key current topics of decarbonisation and renewable energy projects.
Originally from the U.K., Samia moved to The Netherlands in 2021 to lead the Energy Advisory team to deliver hydrogen infrastructure projects.
Today Samia is hands-on deploying net zero technologies in large-scale logistics and real-estate buildings, as Chief Sustainability Officer for Montea. Translating complex topics and paving the way through the energy transition lies at the heart of Samia’s ambition. People, planet, and sharing good memories with friends along the way keeps Samia’s ideas and personal energy sparkling.
Tamzin Taylor

As the Head of Play Partnerships, Western Europe, Google Play at Google, Tamzin leads a team that helps top developers grow successful businesses on Android. With 20 years' experience in technology, Tamzin has a holistic perspective of the mobile ecosystem and a passion for transforming products and partnerships with data-driven insights and recommendations.
Some of Tamzin’s highlights include launching a world-first user choice billing pilot with Spotify, enabling partners to launch on new Android platforms, and setting a compelling vision and strategy for the region. Tamzin is an advisor, strategist, and fast-thinking leader who loves to connect people, insight, and ideas. Tamzin is constantly investing in her own development and learning, and she has earned an Executive MBA from UTS, a certificate in artificial intelligence from Deeplearning.ai, and has completed the Leadership Consortium Program at Harvard Business School. Outside of work, Tamzin enjoys outdoor activities, such as trail running, hiking, skiing, and sailing. Tamzin grew up in Australia and now lives in England, where she has been based for nearly 10 years.
Kris Venkatesh

Kris Venkatesh has worked in financial services for over 16 years, specialising in risk management and compliance. His career has taken him across different countries including Australia, Oman, and the UK. Having worked for large brands such as Harley Davidson and Toyota, Kris's most recent achievement was joining and scaling an early-stage start-up in London called Stenn International, where for over six years, he was Vice President / Chief Risk Officer and MLRO, heading up the risk and underwriting team. Kris is also a Non-Executive Director and currently supports the French Fintech, Aria, acting as a Risk Committee Member on their board.
With a diverse educational background, having obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Annamalai University (2005), Kris went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney (2007). Apart from this, he completed a course in “Inspirational Leadership: Leading with Sense” from HEC Paris, and he has obtained several other certifications, including the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK, Professional Banker Certificate from The Chartered Banker Institute, and Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in Continuous Improvement.
Tracey Beck

Tracey is an experienced marketing, development, and alumni relations professional with extensive strategic and management experience. Tracey has over 20 years’ experience managing alumni and donor programs to build strategic support for four leading universities in Australia and the UK.
Tracey began her career at the University of New South Wales, where she led the communications and marketing teams and built an international alumni loyalty program. She was then Director of Alumni Relations and Events at the University of Sydney for 10 years and initiated an alumni and events program that maximised the University’s reputation and intellectual capital, further developing her strategic strengths in leadership, relationship development, community engagement, and fundraising. In the United Kingdom she was Deputy Director and Head of Supporter Engagement at the University of Bristol, providing innovative opportunities for alumni and donors to engage with the University and grow philanthropic income.
Tracey is committed to higher education and the advancement profession. Her degrees include a Diploma of Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Education from Charles Sturt University, Australia.
Angela Abbott

Currently Alumni & Community Relations Manager with UTS, Angela successfully develops networks, and manages programs in Australia and around the globe.
