It’s never too late to invest in yourself, never stop learning.
There were two main reasons why I chose the MBA program at UTS. The first being the culture. In the webinars for prospective students there was a different vibe to other universities I had been exploring, a more modern approach to business. The second reason was the learning pathways. It’s been a long time since I went to school, and I felt a bit insecure about joining University so late. I liked the fact that I could do the Graduate Certificate and then choose whether I proceeded with my studies, or leave with a certificate, something to show for my efforts if studying didn’t suit me. The flexibility took the pressure off and allowed me to focus on enjoying the experience.
It’s never too late to invest in yourself, never stop learning. So far in my MBA journey I’ve met many people, all from different backgrounds and cultures and we’ve all come to UTS from different pathways. The perspective I’m bringing to and taking away from my studies is definitely different to what it would have been 10-15 years ago. There isn’t a “one size fits all” approach, you can tailor your studies to make it work for you.
[I am most proud of] taking the leap of faith to commit to the MBA. I work full time in a senior leadership role and study part time, I definitely do not take full advantage of what UTS has to offer, but the support available is amazing. I’m proud to be a student at UTS.
