The subjects provided me a wide range of skills so I can take my idea through to commercialisation.
I chose the EMBA at UTS because of the practicality of the course and the strong focus on entrepreneurship. When looking at the course, the subjects were well rounded and provided me a wide range of skills that enables me to take my idea through to commercialisation. Another thing that drew me to the EMBA at UTS was that the guest lecturers were usually entrepreneurs themselves and so they taught from a place of real-world experience. I was able to learn through their shared successes and failures to strategize long term about what opportunities and risks may occur with my startup.
I am most proud of the confidence I gained from the course. Coming from a performing arts background, I was essentially a newbie when it came to not only business, but entrepreneurship. The UTS EMBA course gave me the confidence to dedicate myself full time to my startup.
