SXSW – Walking in two worlds: the space between cultures
Almost half of Australians have a parent born overseas and more than a quarter were born overseas (ABS 2021 Census) … so what are the challenges and benefits of having access to more than one culture?
Regardless of our age or when we or our families arrived, many of us have modified our language, culture, and behaviour to fit in. What does this mean for our workplaces, our recreation spaces, and the world we want to create?
Walking in two worlds: the space between cultures was hosted by UTS Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion and the Centre for Inclusive Design for the inaugural SXSW Sydney 2023.
