2024 Oxford IP Moot Information Session (Online)
Come along on 10 October to learn about applying for and participating in the Oxford IP Moot in 2024.
Come along to the pre-application information session with academic leads Dr Genevieve Wilkinson and Dr Evana Wright to learn about the Oxford IP Moot in 2024.
The Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot has been running for 20 years. It is open to all students registered to study higher education degrees by coursework (unless they have already been admitted to practise law in any jurisdiction).
Written submissions for the Moot are due in December, and participation in the oral rounds by invitation after written is assessed. Invitations are issued in January and the oral rounds are held in March. A team of three students will be selected to represent UTS and travel to the UK in Oxford to participate, all expenses paid.
Students selected are expected to have a basic understanding of intellectual property principles. Preference will be given to students who have already studied, or are currently enrolled in, any of the IP subjects offered in the LLB, JD or LLM/MIP.
All registered attendees will be sent a recording link post-event.
More information about the moots and to download application form can be found via the Mooting Competition webpage.
