Entering its 15th year, Africultures Festival is Australia’s largest African festival showcasing the many vibrant cultures of the African continent. This one-day festival draws thousands of people from across Australia to immerse in the culture, food, music, and arts of Africa.

From bustling market stalls selling arts and fashion to a vibrant lineup of dancers and musicians to delicious food from around Africa, this festival is a jam-packed day full of fun for the whole family.
In partnership with the Africultures Festival, researchers at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) are conducting research to evaluate the social impact of the festival. The purpose of this online survey is to understand the experience of attendees at the Africultures Festival.
The purpose of this research is to support the Somali Welfare and Cultural Association (SWCA) in evaluating the social impact of the Africultures Festival.
