I migrated to Australia in 2007, with my twin sister and my parents. After living in Queensland for some time, we moved to New South Wales where I graduated from high school in the Macarthur/Campbelltown region. I am passionate about sports, and particularly enjoy cricket.
I chose to study the Bachelor of Health Science (now Bachelor of Public Health) as a pathway into the Master of Physiotherapy which is my goal. UTS provides an excellent environment in which to excel academically and allow me to accomplish many goals. There is also a great social environment on campus which I have enjoyed. The most rewarding aspect so far though, has been coming first in my course in first year.
My advice for anyone wanting to study health would be to think about what it is you want to pursue in the future. This helps to establish a goal and stay motivated throughout your studies. Staying on top of every assignment is key to achieving high marks which is beneficial if you want to pursue entry into a Masters program or other further study.
