Economics Research Seminar Series: Zoey Isherwood

Building momentum in the UTS-CBA Rapid Experimentation Lab. Dr. Zoey Isherwood, University of Nevada. 

Dr. Zoey Isherwood is the new Experimentation Manager of the Behavioural Science Team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). 

Along with giving a brief overview of her research background (vision science, psychology, neuroscience), she will discuss what problems the Behavioural Science Team at CBA are currently focused on. She will also discuss her involvement in the UTS-CBA Rapid Experimentation Lab. 

Dr. Isherwood has some initiatives she is currently trying to get off the ground such as running a third UTS-CBA Hackathon with a focus on replicating up to 20 decision-making experiments, as well as setting up an experimentation server to run more complex experiments outside of survey-based platforms such as Qualtrics. 

She is interested in hearing the Economic Discipline Group’s thoughts on these initiatives, and also hearing any feedback/ideas that may add to existing experimentation capability within the Group.
