Natalina’s research interests are in the areas of health and wellbeing. These have been in the contexts of health promotion, with research into food access and healthy food consumption (nutrition labeling, communication, product design, and packaging) as well as sustainability (meat and alternative protein sources).

Adrian uses experimental and survey research methods to understand, explain, and predict the cognitive processes underlying judgment and decision-making, and the application of this knowledge to policy, managerial, and consumption contexts. In one recent project, Adrian has attempted to understand how people nudge people to make more sustainable meal decisions.

With a past career as a lawyer, Alice is interested in the effect of soft law and regulation on organisational behaviour, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and corporate sustainability. Her focus is on board roles, corporate social responsibility regulation, and gender diversity in leadership.

Alison's research centers on organisational and societal sustainability, exploring corporate sustainability, energy policy, and sustainable finance. Her work highlights evaluation and performance indicators and aims to understand how businesses and finance can contribute to the Paris Climate Agreement and UN Sustainable Development Goals through responsible investment and corporate sustainability.

Anthony's research focuses on the experiences of global workers, both expatriates and host-country nationals. Much of it involves individuals who experience sometimes extreme forms of globalisation 'up close', including those working in international humanitarian aid and development cooperation. An example of this is the ongoing Longitudinal Study of Australian Volunteers.

Christina is a leading researcher in energy finance, renewable energy, sustainable finance, and commodity markets. Her research examines renewable energy's impact on electricity markets, climate change transition risk assessment, green bonds, carbon reduction strategies, and macroeconomic drivers of prices and volatilities in energy markets.
Professor David Brown
Finance discipline group
David's research interests span environmental sustainability, mental models and decision-making, inter-organisational research contracting, open strategy and innovation, sustainable agriculture, and management of research performance in universities. He has collaborated with CPA Australia on projects including a joint research initiative with the Strategic Business Management Centre of Excellence. The project explores the adoption of Activity-Based Costing and Management in Australian firms.

Deborah's research interests include environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in investment decisions and impact investing. Within ESG her main interests include gender issues, human rights more broadly and climate change.

Gerhard’s research focuses on solutions to problems caused by unethical conduct in the finance industry, and the broader impact of human behaviour in capital market settings. His ethics research raises awareness for finance-related ethical and social justice issues, and his finance research fosters an understanding of the way that human behaviour can influence investment outcomes.

Gillian’s research spans two main areas. The first of these relates to the development of for-purpose organisations and their role within society and the economy. Allied to this is research on new ways of financing social enterprises and innovative social programs. Her second area of research activity relates to the aged care sector where she is working on a range of projects that aim to improve the social, economic and environmental sustainability of the sector.

Helena is an international business and strategy scholar. She takes a multidisciplinary perspective (e.g., political economy, sociology and economic geography) to explore the intersection between IB and sustainability. She is currently working on projects about the societal implications of multinational firms’ internationalization strategies (e.g., green innovation, pollution, donation, or corporate social responsibility in general), especially in the context of emerging countries.

As a Senior Lecturer in the TD School (transdisciplinary innovation) at UTS, Jarrod's research focuses on working with social enterprises and impact investors to measure and enhance their impact, supporting marginalised entrepreneurs, and understanding the role of emotions, temporality and place in entrepreneurship.

Jock's research interests are in the area of immigration, ethnic diversity and minority entrepreneurship in Australia - ensuring these groups have every opportunity to achieve similar life outcomes to other Australians. His research focuses on social justice for immigrant minorities (including refugees) and other minority groups, including Indigenous Peoples and People with a Disability.

This includes research on corporate boards, and on the responsibility of Business Schools to produce graduates to enact personal and social responsibility.

Simone is a leading mobilities researcher who specialises in sustainable tourism, community development, cross-cultural and diversity management. Simone’s research projects are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth; and 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. She works closely with small and large enterprises in South East Asia and Australia to support the communities and natural environments in which they work.
