Bachelor of Laws Faculty of Law Orientation

The Faculty of Law would like to welcome you into the UTS community at our undergraduate course induction afternoon followed by light refreshments and networking. The event is designed to provide you with essential Law-specific information to help you excel in your studies. The program will include:

• A session on student support and resources
• Tailored information about your Law degree (including PLT)
• An opportunity to hear from Bachelor of Laws alumni now working in firms, with a passion for social justice
• An opportunity to network with Bachelor of Law students in first year and our Law Student Society
• The chance to ask your first-year coordinators and other Law staff any questions during networking
• The chance to sign up to the Brennan Justice & Leadership Program and the UTS Law Students' Society pre-event or post-event
• The chance to jump on a tour of our exclusive UTS Law Student Lounge, Moot Court and Trial Courts post-event (note: you can access this CB02, level 14 space during session as long as you have a UTS student card).

This welcome is for our undergraduate Law students only, if you are on exchange doing Law subjects, you are welcome to join!

Key times for your planning

• 1pm - Doors and registration open (network with new and seasoned students and sign ups)
• 1.15pm - Please arrive for a 1.30pm start
• 1.30pm - 3pm - Your Bachelor of Laws induction
• 3pm - 4pm - Refreshments, networking, sign ups and tours
