An Olympic Games Online bibliography, (198 pages) currently including details of some 1500 research items, is maintained by ACOS and includes keywords and a listing of official post-games reports.

Sydney 2000 Olympic archives
ACOS has acquired documents and publications from the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) relating to the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games and material donated from individuals. This material is available for private study in the Olympic Studies Room at the UTS Library.
Below is a summary of some of the core areas of the archive.
- Post-Games reports – mostly photocopies but some originals from 1904, 1908, 1912, 1932, 1936 1948, 1952, 1956, 1960, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1996
- Official result books for the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games
- 20,000 slides from 1993–2000 – SOCOG slides of the Atlanta and Nagano Games as well some events in Sydney during this period; preparations for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympics; IOC visits to Sydney, transport, catering and media arrangements and many other topics
- Photograph albums – Seven albums relating to the Lillehammer, Atlanta and Nagano Games: includes test events, Olympic and Paralympic Games.
- Bid books - hard copies of bids from eight cities for the 2004 Games and another six for the 2006 Games (donated by Mr Phil Coles)
- Newspapers – The Australian, Daily Telegraph (Sydney) and Sydney Morning Herald; for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Approximately 200 videos – most relating to the 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Videos of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and daily television reports, of the Paralympic Games
- The last cut of Athena – SOCOG's operating system.
