GBDTC early career researcher wins Best Paper Award at ISAP
Congratulations to Dr Shulin Chen, awarded the Best Young Professional Paper at ISAP2022.
World-class research
With a focus on the Asia-Pacific region, the 2022 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP 2022) is one of the most significant international flagship conferences in antennas and propagation. The ISAP 2022 conference accepted around 300 papers submissions, with only two Best Young Professional Papers selected by a panel of world-renowned experts. GBDTC’s Research Fellow, Dr Shulin (Stanley) Chen, has just won this highly competitive best paper award for his work on the Closed-Path Toroidal-Waveguide Leaky-Wave Antenna with Directive Beam. This work was supervised by Professors Jay Guo, Richard Ziolkowski, and Bevan Jones.
Congratulations to Shulin and his supervisors!
I am thrilled to be rewarded the Best Young Professional Paper at the ISAP 2022. The ISAP 2022 conference is fantastic, and it gave me lots of wonderful moments and memories. Undoubtedly, this prestigious award is the highlight of the conference for me. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisors, colleagues, and collaborators for their great support and help. I hope to continue to produce impactful research and findings.
