Welcome to INSIGHT, the UTS Health Research Institute for Innovative Solutions for Well-being and Health here at the University of Technology Sydney, that stands on the lands of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. Insight is a convening space for multi-disciplinary research that brings together experts in health, science, engineering, IT, law, business and humanities to solve wicked and complex problems in health. We focus on the health and well-being of older people and those living with dementia, chronic disease and palliative conditions as well as women and children and the health of First Nations people. Our solutions harness the power of technology and acknowledge the challenges we face in the current climate change emergency that demand adaption and resilience.

Acknowledgement of Country

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
