Is your career climate-change ready?
When it comes to qualifications to help address and mitigate climate change, Landscape Architecture is very much in demand. And UTS is one of very few Australian institutions to offer the discipline – both at the undergraduate (Bachelors degree) and postgraduate levels.
At its core, landscape architecture is “about trying to find a better balance between architecture and the natural environment,” says UTS Professor Penny Allan, in a recent interview with The Fifth Estate.
Whether the challenge is bushfires, flooding, coastal erosion, or simply human comfort in the face of extreme heat, landscape architecture provides solutions to help our urban environments work more sustainably, and resiliently.
