This important live webinar was organised and hosted by the WHO Health Human Resources Development Centre in Beijing, China and supported by the Chinese Nursing Association. The event took place on the 16th of June 2020 and lasted over two hours. Participants included Chinese nurses and medical experts from China and other parts of the world. Among the speakers were also Ms. Michele Rumsey of WHO CC UTS and Ms. Sue Kim of WHO CC in Korea.
The topics covered nursing care of COVID -19 ICU patients; construction of nurses' psychological quality and after-fight psycho-recovery support; and zero-infection prevention strategy. The webinar concluded with round table discussions and provided a useful platform for sharing of nurses’ experiences in responding to the COVID19 pandemic. Korea shared their national 3T approach Test, Trace and Treat, which enable speed, transparency and links to public and private sector.
Interesting discussion on COVID19 with WHO CC colleagues …. We need to keep sharing the good practice and have more trials for treatment approaches.
