Associate Professor Bronwyn O'Brien: Medical science at UTS very much sets students up for the real world we have very strong industry collaborations and we use those so that we can constantly change our course so that it's very responsive to what's happening out there in the industry
Associate Professor Charles Cranfield: This is what we call the hive this is one of the three great Labs we have in the faculty of science the others being the super lab and the anatomy Suite the labs here at UTS are stocked with exactly the same equipment that they will use when they get their first job in a hospital or an industry
Student 1: I chose to come to UTS because I felt like it better suited my learning style I thought that the Practical element of it was a lot more interactive than just reading a textbook and I got a lot more value out of that
Student 2: I think that UTS is your best choice because they really support you they have the best facilities and they just want the best for you

“I feel like the advanced science degree will set me up really well for what I want to go and do after my undergraduate studies whether that be medicine, research or something else."
-Avalon, Pre-medicine student
“As part of my degree, I was able to undertake an internship. The knowledge, skills and connections I gained from that internship was one of the most valuable experiences in my degree."
-Samara, Pharmaceutical science student
“My internship at the Prince of Wales Hospital was one major highlight of my course. I got to work in a diagnostic lab with real patient samples and was able to see how everything that I learnt at university applied in the real world."
-Kiara, Medical science student
