Our research is underpinned by our commitment to social justice, which sits at the heart of our dynamic, innovative and collaborative research culture. We engage with consumers and practitioners, the health sector and industry, government bodies and the international research community, ensuring that our research progresses healthy livelihoods and health systems.
We are rated well above the world standard for research in Nursing, Midwifery, Human Movement and Sports Science (rated as "5/5") and above the world standard for research in Public Health and Health Services, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, and Psychology and Cognitive Sciences (rated as "4/5") in the Federal Government's Excellence in Research Australia 2016-2018 review. Public and Allied Health Sciences in the Faculty of Health is also rated high in impact, engagement and approach to impact in the Australian Research Council’s Engagement and Impact Assessment 2019.
