Applying to UTS
UTS is open and there is still a pathway to tertiary study for all prospective students.
Information sessions
We have commenced the reactivation of our campus events, in line with updated Government health advice. We are offering a range of both face-to-face and online events.
Our events and info sessions page is constantly being updated, so be sure to keep up to date with our undergraduate and postgraduate events pages.
Classes and assessments
As part of our campus reactivation, we currently have more classes, extracurricular activities and student support services returning in face-to-face mode. Lectures and some very large classes remain online.
As we return to campus, the health and safety of our students, staff and wider community remains our number one priority. You can find out more about what we're doing to keep campus low-risk on our UTS campus and facilities page.
Online teaching is delivered via Zoom – a high-quality video communications platform. The Zoom capability enables our academics to deliver online classes, group work via online breakout rooms, collaboration on tasks, research supervision, etc. in real-time.
Our students and academics are also using Microsoft Teams to complete coursework tasks, collaborate on files and join video and audio meetings.
Supporting online study and student experience
Once you start at UTS, we will continue to support you as you study online, and maintain a world-class university experience.
Our student support services and resources have adapted to support social distancing measures. Through the use of Zoom, phone calls and emails, we continue to support our students remotely. Find out more about supporting online study.
