About us
Our research interests lie in ecology, evolution and the conservation of native biodiversity. Given the global increase in the frequency and intensity of wildfires, we are currently working to understand fundamental differences in flammability among plant species, from leaf to whole plant scales, with application to wildfire mitigation and ecological sustainability at the wildland-urban interface.
The EcoDynamics Lab has specialist expertise in experimental design and ecological statistics, performs field work across a range of ecosystems, and conducts glasshouse and laboratory experiments. We are always keen to train postgraduate, Honours and internship students as members of the lab. Interested students should contact Dr Brad Murray.
