Hello, new UTS Central food court

In June we got you hungry for new food options on campus when we announced the line-up in the new food court in UTS Central (Building 2). Now the doors are finally open!.

All outlets are operating except for the Terrace Café, run by ActivateUTS, which will open mid-September.

To add to the excitement, some outlets are offering special promotions on opening day (Monday 19 August). See below for details. 

While you’re in the food court you can view the new mural created by artists from Studio A, a Sydney-based studio that supports artists living with intellectual disability. And Plastic Free Ambassadors will around throughout the opening week to explain how UTS has replaced single-use plastic items with fully compostable, reusable or recyclable alternatives.

To help you plan your Monday feast, here’s a rundown of what you can expect in terms of menus, opening hours and special deals.

The Little Roaster
Open: Breakfast and lunch, into the afternoon
What: Espresso bar with café staples including a breakfast menu

Cha Time
Open: From breakfast until the afternoon
What: Bubble tea
Promotion: $2-off offer for students who sign up to Chatime loyaltea app, exclusive to UTS

PappaRich
Open: Lunch and dinner

Promotion: Half-price meals (certain dishes only, subject to availability)

Uni Bros
Open: Lunch and dinner
What: Kebabs, burgers, pizzas and pides

Mad Mex

What: Mexican food
