Interns of WHO CC
WHO Collaborating Centre has welcomed six interns this month. The primary focus of the internship program is to provide a platform where they can practically use learning from their bachelor, master’s program or as professional working experience. Additionally, they can get an idea of how the collaboration centre works regionally. The interns have come from diversified backgrounds including health science, public health, midwifery, creative intelligence innovation, computer science, health service management and WHO, Bangladesh. The program will provide training and work experience in the areas of research on competencies and models of competencies, review project opportunities, link with South Pacific Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officers Alliance (SPCNMOA), Pacific research publication, talanola research methodology, research tender opportunities and registration and administration.
The WHO CC interns feedback over the years has been very positive and many of our past interns come back to tell us how they are going in their new role in policy, government, and Pacific roles.
