About the Speaker
Garry is the Executive Chairman of Stuart Alexander & Co which imports, markets and distributes premium global consumer brands such as Mentos and Tabasco and is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned companies. He is a respected business and industry leader and an expert in transforming organisations, managing cultural change and building brands into household names.
Garry is a committed philanthropist and advocate of corporate social responsibility. He supports numerous causes personally, as a Rotarian and through the S’Team Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Stuart Alexander & Co, which supports underprivileged young Australians.
Garry is Deputy Chair of Life Education Australia, the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife, and the Chair for UTS Faculty of Science Industry Advisory Group.
Garry’s significant service to the community and business was recognized in 2014 with a Member of the Order of Australia.
Garry has a Bachelor of Business from UTS and completed the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is also a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
