A group of postgraduate students have been working with UTS professor Deborah Ascher Barnstone on a partnership with International Grammar School (IGS) to rethink the school’s master plan. Three of these students undertook a special project studio under the guidance of William Feuerman to continue their research.
The project concluded in detailed design of a creative and performing arts and technology centre. It was positioned on the recently purchased blocks, where students created an overall conceptual proposal for an arterial campus as a master plan solution. Students used their building proposals as an argument to expose new educational models and the changing nature of learning environments within the city.
