Indigenous Entrepreneurship Panel

UTS and Australian-American Fulbright Commission are holding an event to mark the fourth annual Indigenous Business Month with four prominent Indigenous panellists who will present and discuss topics on Indigenous Entrepreneurship in Australia followed by a Q&A. The panellists include: Professor of Entrepreneurship and Gaimariagal/Wiradjuri man Dennis Foley, Faculty of Business, Government & Law at the University of Canberra; scholarly-practitioner and Gumbaynggirr man Dean Jarrett, PhD Candidate at the UTS Business School; Wiradjuri woman Mayrah Sonter, entrepreneur, board director and communications professional and; UTS Associate Professor and Noongar man Christopher Lawrence, Aboriginal health and wellbeing researcher. The panel is an initiative of the First Nations Fulbright Alumni Network and will promote thought leadership in this field through the contributions of the panellists and attendants, seeking to contribute in a positive and illustrative way to increase awareness about, motivation to undertake, and support for Indigenous Entrepreneurship in Australia.
