Innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities
Entrepreneurship opportunities at UTS
More than 40 per cent of our students want to create their own jobs or start their own companies. Equipping students with the tools to become entrepreneurs will be critical to their success, whether it’s through co-curricular programs, credit-bearing offerings or industry opportunities. UTS has its own on-campus start-up incubator, a founding partnership with Sydney School of Entrepreneurship and a range of start-up internships and scholarship opportunities. Find out about these programs.

Add the Diploma in Innovation to your UTS degree
The Diploma in Innovation provides the opportunity to take some subjects in the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation but is a shorter add-on to a standalone degree, which does not change the course duration. You apply for this diploma after you have been accepted into a standalone degree at UTS.
All diploma subjects will be offered as winter and summer school intensives, so even though you're adding an extra qualification, you'll still graduate on time. You can also use the Diploma of Innovation as an entry pathway to a combined degree with the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation.
