PDHPE Stage 6 Masterclass: Factors Affecting Performance
Targeted professional development for PDHPE teachers designed and delivered by UTS experts in sport and exercise science.
Distinguished Professor Aaron Coutts, Dr Lee Wallace and Mr Steve Stone will combine their expertise to offer targeted and hands on learning for Stage 6 PDHPE teachers who have not recently engaged in content specific additional studies.
With academic and industry experience which includes an Australian Award for University Teaching, a Director role with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA), a member of the Nike Sport Research Laboratory Advisory Board, as well as a sport science advisor to several top-level professional football clubs and sporting organizations, Distinguished Professor Coutts provides teachers with the highest level of expertise and currency in the subject matter that underpins Factors that Affect Performance. The involvement of Dr Lee Wallace, former national triathlete, and Mr Steve Stone, recipient of the ESSA 2017 Accredited Exercise Physiologist of the Year Award, provides Stage 6 PDHPE teachers with unmatched access to an exceptional line up of expertise in this master class.

Accreditation
Completing the UTS Master Class Series, PDHPE Stage 6 – Factors Affecting Performance will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
