Climate justice & Restoration of Tulladunna

Wee Waa Local Aboriginal Land Council celebrate the restoration of Tulladunna. From the 1960s and onwards, Tulladunna was home to hundreds of Aboriginal cotton chippers and their families.

In May this year, Indigenous Economies Research Network was invited by Wee Waa Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) to the commemoration of families and community who lived and worked at Tulladunna.  It was an incredible day of celebration and local history and we made a documentary.  We love the doco, and we think you will too. Please join us  our party where we will screen the 30 minute doco ‘Tulladunna’, talk about the research and sate you with chips, chocolate and champagne.
