UTS has a unique culture; students, staff, and academics are incredibly warm and welcoming
I wanted to study law because I was always passionate about the interconnectedness of law and its ability to influence every aspect of our lives. I decided to study at UTS because UTS prides itself on producing work ready graduates with a future orientated outlook. UTS also has a unique culture of collaboration and students, staff, and academics are incredibly warm and welcoming. UTS law school in particular is where innovation meets practical application and it is the choice for aspiring lawyers who want to be at the forefront of technological advancement and technical expertise. The most rewarding part of my degree so far has been the ability to examine the world through a legal lease and start solving 'what-if' scenarios problem questions with my peers. One practical extra-curricular activity I've gained is the ability to represent UTS in national and international law competitions, which has provided me the practical and technical skills to differentiate myself in the job market. Looking forward I hope to work in corporate law, especially in the intersect between finance and the law. My advice to future law students is to fully immerse yourselves in law school, embrace the chaos and enjoy the range of opportunities and experience that law school has to offer - you never know where it might lead you.
