UTS offers endless opportunities for development and growth outside of merely satisfying academi
I decided to study at UTS because, for me, the ability to expose myself to a diverse range of practical and professional opportunities is an essential component of developing my skill-set while studying. UTS supports this unreservedly through scholarships such as the Michael Whitbread Scholarship, which provides me with the very unique opportunity to travel overseas to help further my career ambitions. The UTS Law Faculty looks beyond simply your in-class education, and seeks to foster a holistic, practical education which is transferrable into the global legal market of today.
My advice to future law students is to utilise every opportunity your education offers you. To receive a tertiary education is a privilege, so embrace it.
The most rewarding part of my law degree so far has been the ability to challenge myself and push myself out of my comfort zone. Completing a law degree is no easy feat, and at UTS it offers endless opportunities for development and growth outside of merely satisfying academic requirements. It has been invaluable for me to be able to explore my full potential in a university context, so that I know what I can take with me to contribute to the wider world when I enter the workforce.
