I decided to study at UTS as I recognised its flexibility
Before starting at UTS, I had completed a Bachelor of International Studies but was feeling a little lost.
I wanted to study law because I was looking for a new challenge and adventure.
I decided to study at UTS as I recognised its flexibility and had heard great things.
The most rewarding part of my law degree so far has been the people! I have been privileged to connect with inspiring mentors and wonderful new friends.
On practical experience placements/extra-curricular activities, I’ve gained an appreciation for the power and potential of the law, in various sectors and as it affects all people. It's flexible and it is your passport to the world!
Looking forward, I hope to become a happy and productive member of society. I would like some corporate firm experience but ultimately I am looking to become involved in the Indigenous sector.
My advice to future law students, throw yourself into it! The law is terrifying and terrific and it is going to open so many doors in ways you could not possibly imagine! Don't be afraid to be true to yourself either - the beauty of this degree is the variety of avenues you can choose to take with it.
