Funding tomorrow’s breakthroughs, today
Imagine if the Great Barrier Reef could be populated with ‘super-corals’ that are resistant to climate change? Or if a simple do-it-yourself saliva test could tell you whether or not you have coeliac disease?
Associate Professor David Suggett and Dr Olga Shimoni (respectively) are just steps away from achieving both these feats.
That’s why they’ve been selected as winners of AMP’s Tomorrow Fund 2017. Associate Professor Suggett and Dr Shimoni are among 45 Australians selected from 1800 applicants to share $1 million in grants.
