Inclusive and Cohesive Communities in NSW Conference 2-3 Nov 2017
We are excited to announce that IPPG's Director, Professor Roberta Ryan will be speaking at the Canterbury Bankstown City Council inaugural 'Inclusive and Cohesive Communities in NSW Conference' 2-3 Nov 2017.
The Conference is brought to you by the Local Government Multicultural Network, in partnership with Multicultural NSW, Local Government NSW, the State Library of NSW, Randwick City Council, Parramatta City Council and City of Canterbury Bankstown and supported by Department of Human Services Centrelink, Vyva Entertainment, Inner West Council and City of Sydney.
The Conference will:
- Examine best practice models/ frameworks to promote social cohesion and Inclusion
- Explore pragmatic responses to social cohesion challenges in diverse communities
- Showcase key strategies used in the sector
Local, State and Federal Government workers and those interested in community cohesion are invited to register and share their insights. Canterbury Bankstown City Council would be particularly pleased to see member involvement from our regional areas and look forward to meeting in person at the conference.
