Shanelle Sorbello
Master of Orthoptics
"The course had many highlights for me, including my interstate placement in Brisbane which felt a bit like a working holiday. I was honoured to have been awarded the Lance-Jolly Prize upon graduating, which I now hang proudly beside my desk. The biggest highlight though was probably meeting a group of friends that became more like family."
Prem Gunasekaran
Master of Orthoptics
"A highlight of my time (at UTS) was being involved with the UTS Student Orthoptics Society. I was privileged to be the president in both 2015 and 2016. It was a wonderful experience working with an amazing team, organising events within the cohort and in collaboration with other GSH disciplines."
Jessica Tame
Master of Orthoptics
"The facilities at UTS allow us to practice performing diagnostic tasks whist in tutorials, ultimately enabling us to feel more at ease once on placement with real patients. The cohort size is small compared to undergraduate studies and you become great friends seeing them every day. The teachers (leading figures in the profession) are also very approachable and interactive, which really helps you engage further with the course."
