LG Professionals Australia Next Gen Event

 

 

The Local Government Professionals Australia NSW LG Next Gen event took place on July 28th in Sydney. LG Next Gen is a professional development event for emerging leaders in all levels of local government and is designed to provide leadership building blocks to prepare the next generation of local government leaders. 

 

The program included a range of interactive workshops designed to assist emerging leaders to achieve career success including a session from the University of Technology Sydney Institute for Public Policy and Governance Leadership Program Specialist Sophi Bruce on Influencing Upwards and Outwards. In this session, participants engaged in activities to help them understand their influencing style and develop their capacity to influence peers, colleagues, managers and leaders to benefit positive working relationships and contribute to organisational outcomes.
