Being on placement can be an exciting and stressful time. It is best to be prepared for your clinical placement.
Prior to clinical placement
Two weeks prior to placement
Check MyPlacement for important clinical placement information including:
- Shift times
- First day start time and meeting location
- Clinical Facilitator name and contact details (if available)
- Pre-Clinical Mandatory Training requirements.
- Compliance and Verification documents
Note: Some facilities require you to bring in hard copies of some documentation. Check the Placement tab of MyPlacement for specific details.
One week prior to placement
Have your full UTS Uniform washed, cleaned and ready to wear.
Find your UTS Student ID Card and Name Badge and ensure they are in good condition
Identify your learning objectives
Review your clinical subject learning objectives
Review your Scope of Practice
Complete your pre-clinical worksheet
