What led you to choose UTS:Law for your studies? It is challenging working full time and studying part-time. UTS provides the flexibility and understanding of postgraduate study. It accommodates this through its ongoing learning program throughout the year by providing more course options during the summer session and by making lectures and tutorials available after work hours to assist with our study and work life. It also has the advantage of being able to complete practical legal training at UTS and provides the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program.

What was the most rewarding aspect of your degree? Why? Achieving the best performance award for Perspectives of Law, whilst working full-time in a challenging chartered accounting role.
What is the most useful or important thing you learned from your studies at UTS? That anything is possible- you may not always go well in everything, but a positive attitude and pure determination will get you through.
Was there anyone in particular at the University who had a significant influence on your studies? Peter Alexander has been my great influencer so far. He made the learning of law relevant and interesting to understand through discussion and by providing current examples of the legal concepts. This enabled me to develop a further interest in what I was studying.
What would your advice be for someone who is looking at studying Law at UTS? It is a great University that provides many options for courses, it provides the flexibility of classes and the lectures and tutors are very smart and engaging people.
