UTS Central
Located next to the UTS Tower and opposite Central Park on Broadway, UTS Central is a striking, 17-storey, glass-encased building that has redefined the southern gateway to Sydney’s CBD. It adds to the architectural diversity of the UTS campus, joining iconic buildings including the Frank Gehry-designed Dr Chau Chak Wing Building.
UTS Central is a vibrant student hub and faculty space at the heart of our city campus. It's home to the new UTS Library and scholarly Reading Room, a wealth of student study spaces, and an inviting, publicly accessible food court that opens onto Alumni Green.
Our Faculty of Law has also made its new home in the upper floors of UTS Central, with state-of-the-art trial courts and Moot Court, as well as purpose-built student study areas.
Upbeat electronic music plays throughout
Importantly for our growing university, UTS Central adds to the array of learning, teaching and research facilities on campus, with the Hive Superlab, three large high-tech collaborative classrooms and much-needed research spaces for the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
