Fashion and textiles facilities
Fashion Studio
The Fashion Studio provides a dedicated workspace for Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles students working over a range of specialist areas in women’s and men’s wear such as couture, ready-to-wear, swimwear and sportswear.
The facility includes two studios for flat patternmaking, cutting and construction including specially designed mannequins for drape; as well as a sewing workshop with specialised industrial sewing machines and equipment for a range of fabrications such as stretch, wovens, naturals and synthetics.

Textiles Workshop
The Textiles Workshop provides a spacious, comprehensively equipped and up-to-date facility. Through a range of processes such as silkscreen, transfer and sublimation printing and fabric dying, students can experiment with a range of image making techniques such as photographic, hand-drawn and half-tone printing.
In addition to the workshop area, the facility includes a presentation space, dry room and breakout studio space where students can design and create.

Fabrication workshops and digital maker space
All DAB students have access to the fabrication labs and digital maker space.
