E-Xplore The Globe offers the opportunity to engage in cultural resources from around the globe. You can explore on-demand content and also register for live webinars that will help you learn about culture and internationalisation from students all over the world. The cultural resources include everything from undertaking virtual walking and museum tours, participating in language taster sessions and expanding your professional network with students from across Coventry University and from all over the world via their network of exchange partnerships.
On completion, you will not only have learnt amazing things about yourself and the world around you, you will also have had the chance to network with new people. You will also earn a formal Participation Certificate for your CV which you will use to claim your UTS BUILD Program elective points.
This opportunity supports BUILD’s values of Global Citizenship and Intercultural Competency, Diversity and Inclusion.
“Participation in the Virtual World Tour gave me the opportunity to exercise that sense of adventure and curiosity about foreign countries in a new way. The content of the Virtual World Tour was really interesting.
One week I could be discovering what high and low context cultures are on LinkedIn Learning; the next week I could be exploring what that meant in practice with students at Jiangxi University, China. I engaged with real people who were keen to share their experiences and knowledge of different countries. The ability to access the content on-demand really worked for me."
