UTS JD, Legal Studies and Australian Law Orientation
Autumn Orientation 2023 - Online session
The Faculty of Law would like to welcome you into the UTS community at our postgraduate evening. The event is designed to provide you with essential Law-specific information to help you excel in your studies.
The program will include:
- A zoom session on student support and resources
- Tailored information about your degree
- The chance to ask our staff and current students any questions you have about starting your course through Zoom Q&A (and in person after the event should you decide to tune in on-campus).
This welcome is for coursework postgraduate Law students only. HDR students will be emailed about their induction separately. This evening is an informal and social induction into studying at the Faculty of Law. Students studying the Juris Doctor (JD), Australian Law and Legal Studies courses will get the most out of this session. If you are currently studying Postgraduate Law with us on an exchange, you are most welcome to tune in.
Following this online event will be the opportunity to network on campus with other UTS Law postgraduate students and UTS Law academic staff, you'll need to register for the networking event separately here. Students who would like to attend the networking event can tune into their course induction on campus in CB02.7.150 with your headphones and our team with escort you to our networking event upstairs following this session.

Please note: As this orientation session will be carried out via Zoom meeting, we recommend you download and test Zoom ahead of the day with your UTS student credentials. It is best you use headphones or are in a quiet place to get the best out of your orientation induction. This session will be recorded and shared with all registrants post-event.
