The course seeks to enhance professionals’ understanding of the nature, context and contribution of global supply chains and operations management functions in both inter- and intra- organisational contexts facilitating competitive advantage.

Course duration
The course duration is one year of full-time or two years of part-time study.

To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.
Applicants must have the following:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
International applicants with a completed bachelor's degree or higher qualification who do not meet the criteria above may be considered with:
- Completed bachelor’s degree with more than 60% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) AND a minimum of 2 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant post-degree professional experience
OR
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam) with an overall minimum score of 550
OR
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test) with an overall minimum score of 307 with verbal 148 and quantitative 156
Relevant professional experience refers to any current work experience in which you have developed skills, knowledge, and competencies directly related to the course for which you are applying. This includes roles such as managers, professionals, technicians, community, personal service, clerical, administrative, or sales workers across various industries.
Applicants who do not meet the criteria above should consider applying for C11199 Graduate Certificate in Strategic Supply Chain Management.
The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL iBT: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50; or C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.

International studentsVisa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances.

Recognition of prior learning
Students may be granted a maximum of four subject exemptions, of which two core subjects can be approved from prior undergraduate study.
Note: Students who wish to apply for MCIPS accreditation cannot get recognition of prior learning for any of the subjects.
