Renae Lattey
Renae Lattey is an Advisory Board member at the Australia-China Relations Institute at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS:ACRI).
She is the Chief Executive Partner, Australia for King & Wood Mallesons. In her role, she is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s strategy as the Australian practice continues to build on its strong foundation and vision to be a top-tier international law firm from Asia, for the world.
Prior to her appointment as Chief Executive Partner, Australia, she was the Managing Partner, Clients and Mergers & Acquisitions. In this role, she oversaw the firm's client and sector strategy, focusing on transforming the client experience.
Before her time in management, she had established a strong international profile having acted for major telecommunications clients throughout the Asia Pacific, particularly on projects in Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand as well as in UK and Europe. Her work included advice to regional governments on World Bank telecommunications projects in developing countries and advising international communications providers on the Australian regulatory environment. She is ranked as Eminent Practitioner by Chambers TMT: Telecommunications 2023 in Asia-Pacific, and Leading Individual by Legal 500: IT & Telecoms 2023 in Australia.
