What you’ll learn
After successful completion of the tutorial and quiz, you will be able to:
- have open and informed dialogue with your classmates, friends and tutors about academic integrity
- identify when and how you need to seek clarification about ‘grey areas’
- seek support from the right places when you need it
- describe different forms of academic integrity, as well as the consequences of breaching academic integrity
- practise academic integrity: create something original, credit others, collaborate with care
- identify appropriate use of GenAI (such as ChatGPT and DALL-E) in your studies.
How to complete the tutorial and quiz
To get started:
- Enrol in the course in Canvas
- Read the course welcome.
- Work through the information and activities.
- Take the quizzes to check your understanding.
- If you’re unsure about anything related to academic integrity, talk to your tutor, lecturer, subject coordinator or UTS help services. It’s okay if you don’t know, just ask!
After enrolling, you can revisit the tutorial and quiz anytime you like (we recommend taking a refresher at the start of each academic year). There’s no need to re-enrol, just access the course directly or via your Canvas Courses.
