UTS Entrepreneurship is committed to supporting UTS staff to include innovation and entrepreneurship within the curriculum. UTS Entrepreneurship has already been working with faculties and schools across the university to support course and subject coordinators in doing this in a number of ways.
See how UTS Entrepreneurship can support your faculty, course, subject or school below:
- Entrepreneurship workshops with experienced facilitators that provide interactive and practical learning experiences for students. introducing them to key innovation and entrepreneurship methods including design thinking, pitching, the lean business model canvas, and more. These sessions can be customised and range from 30 minute sessions to week-long bootcamps.
- Online educational content from the UTS Entrepreneurship Toolkit focused on helping students develop ideas, apply design thinking methods, respond to opportunities, understand social enterprise, go from idea to venture creation, and more. You can find out more about the content here.
- Internships and projects for students – whether they want to intern with a startup or would like to pursue other entrepreneurial experiences, we have opportunities available for a student at any point in their journey. We also have complex problems and startup case studies that groups of students can work on for assessments and group work projects. You can find out more about our internship program here.
- Collaborative content and assessment development for subjects, online content and more. We can work with you to develop new online and face to face content and advise you on existing content, assessment structure and more that already exist in UTS subjects.
We can also provide additional support to subject and course coordinators including promotion of subjects and degrees to future and current students, data and tracking of students engaged in entrepreneurship, presentations about entrepreneurship and UTS Startups, mentors, and a venue to host entrepreneurial activities.
