The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the what, where, when and how we shop, presenting a range of opportunities for business unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Capitalising on post-COVID consumer behaviours
The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly altered the way we shop. Behaviours that began out of necessity have taken route, and have changed the what, where, when and how we purchase.
Over the past two years, we have seen an increased use of online meeting tools, click-and-collect and subscription services that have helped change the way we communicate, engage with online content, and play a vital role when it comes to making purchases – no matter how big or small.
In this episode of Think: Business Futures, presenter Stefan Posthuma discusses with Ofer Mintz, Associate Professor, Associate Head of UTS Business School Marketing Department and author of The Post Pandemic Business Playbook how COVID-19 has affected consumer behaviour, the types of opportunities this behavioural shift presents for businesses, and how they can best alter their approach to make the most of this new consumer environment.
