UTS Finance Honours: Information Session

Join the UTS Finance Department for this online event to get insight into the Finance Honours program and find out if it is right for you.

The honours program in finance at UTS provides advanced training in financial analysis and investment management. The program is industry-focused with substantive academic training and an enhanced hands-on approach. It is designed to expand students’ understanding of financial assets, investment decisions, and risk management. Our experts teach new analytical and statistical tools applying it to real market data and train students to conduct their own research on financial markets and institutions. Through regular interaction with industry experts, the program provides students with direct exposure to industry practice and research.

Most other honours programs focus on advanced training for PhD studies. The aim of our program is to add value to a students’ long-run industry career. Our honours graduates will have a specialisation in funds management. Assessment is largely based on creative thinking and hands-on analysis with subjects having no final exam. Our honours graduates have significant exposure to industry practice, research, and networking.
