The UTS Behavioural Lab is devoted to theoretical and empirical research related to human judgments, preferences and decisions as well as their marketplace and societal consequences.
The goal of the Behavioral Lab is to bring together a group of interdisciplinary researchers, some economists, psychologists, marketers, to really come together and understand human behaviour and then use that knowledge to nudge better decisions and improve the outcomes of citizens.
A second goal of the Behavioral Lab is to train new behavioural scientists. So we have Ph.D. students, Honor Students, we have a Masters of Behavioral Economics Program. And so we're training new behavioural scientists that go on and take leadership positions in organisations and then have extended impact on their constituents.
